Bar code scanner
Instead of manually entering each item, I'd like the ability to scan the bar code and have the item appear.

Food Inventory
I know that there is an option to input food for inventory, but it seems as a side thought. It would be great if you would allow the users to be able to input their food items and be able to put the measurements in based on the size of the canister or package. Not just have the standard mL, L, oz, gal sizes
67 votesWe are currently looking into small changes that we can introduce quickly that will improve food inventory. At the moment, you can still get an accurate PO for a food product by inputting the size/weight of the item in the Product Name, regardless of what container and capacity you set.

Be able to run inventory report on certain parts of venue
We do a Full inventory once a month, but do only the stock rooms once a week. If I could run an inventory report for my stock rooms separately from the entire venue, it would make weekly ordering much easier. Then when I look at the weekly report spreadsheet I could see exactly what needs to be ordered each week instead of having to scroll through each placement of the stockroom individually.
14 votesHi,
You could take a beginning and ending inventory session on a per Area basis to track usage, however, the total quantity on hand would be aggregate.
If you wanted to set your pars based on only the stock room, you could use the reset to zero feature and only count the stock room for ordering!
Learn more about the reset to zero feature here: http://support.partender.com/knowledgebase/articles/615426-how-do-i-reset-the-counts-levels-to-0

A "lock" button for the level indicator
Sometimes when I swipe to the next bottle, I accidentally change the liquor level. A button that would lock in the liquor level would help.

Add "Purchases" and "Used" to inventory reports
Add purchases and used columns to inventory report. I can see what I bought and I can see what I used and adjust pars as necessary or see exactly what has happened between counts.
13 votesYou can actually generate a Usage report from the Reports page, which allows you to choose any beginning and ending date – not just the different between your most recent 2 inventory sessions. It shows your beginning, ending, purchases, and usage. It even gives you a place to input sales!

Save "Analytics" report
Allow me to save a "analytics" report, as in save the brands I choose so that I can later choose "Vodkas" and my vodkas come up or "all" and everything comes up. And I can change the dates I want.

Inventory search
Ability to search inventory too see if certain bottle in stock quickly.
11 votesHi,
The best way to see if a bottle is in stock is to 1) search for the product in the Analytics page to view the most recent count, or 2) review the most recent inventory report, which breaks down quantity on hand per Area (so you can see how much you have in different locations throughout the venue).
We will review adding a search feature in the application.

Break out invoices into categories
We enter purchases into Quik books. So we have to manually break out beer, wine, liquor, n/alcoholic. I would be nice if the spreadsheet could group each into their category and have subtotals for each, which add up to the entire invoice. I would be a considerable back office time saver. Thank you
10 votesIf you enter invoices into Partender, you can see total value of purchases/invoices for liquor, beer, wine (and any other product type) in your Analytics page. We will also calculate your usage, and cost of goods sold!
Check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ei3z-jyAY0c
Your inventory report also breaks down the total value on on hand for all your products types. Just click the Value on Hand tab!

Keg measurements
Are we really supposed to line up how full we think a keg is? This is AWESOME for bottles where we can see how full they are, but there's gotta be a better way to implement keg weights.
8 votesHi,
Please review our tips for measuring kegs and dark bottles: http://support.partender.com/knowledgebase/articles/489426-how-do-i-take-inventory-of-kegs-or-dark-bottles
We will continue to research better ways to measure kegs more accurately.

Show partial counts on the 'Shelf' screen.
I think it would be a big help to show partial counts on the 'Shelf' screen.
So for example, we have 1.5 bottles of Baileys on the shelf. Currently, when I look in the list it will just show the '1 Full bottles' of for Bailey's.
I like using that screen to verify that my counts are accurate and if it showed partial bottle counts, such as '1.5 Full bottles', it would be very helpful.

Revamp your beverage inventory tool
There are several emails between Paige and I regarding this issue. It will save us a lot of time to have certain fields be required to fill in when entering a product. When we have month end time and accuracy is of the essence. We find that there are issues with quantities being entered and there is no wholesale value attached. So at the last minute the team is scrambling to locate invoices to see how much a new item was purchased for. As I mentioned to have required fields such as vendor and wholesale value would greatly improve our…
6 votesHi,
I believe this request is for the ability to enter brand data through the app. If so, this is a great idea that we have heard a few times.
There is no planned release date yet, but I believe this update will be added to our roadmap in the near future!

Usage Report Improvement
The usage report should default to the measurement specified for that brand if it's going to be all in one spreadsheet. Otherwise, the usage report should only generate usage for items measured by the amount type specified. For example, if I ask for a usage report in "shots" then I should only get a report for items which are measured in shots. Same for bottles, etc. Otherwise I have to delete and sort the report every time, and run several different reports to get a correct usage report for each type of item.
5 votesHi John,
Thank you for your suggestion! We do plan on making improvements to the usage report. We are looking into other ways to help our customer track shrinkage.
Stay tuned for our product release notifications!

Filter by missing Product Code in Brands page
I want to view only products that are missing the product code.
5 votesHi Jason,
Adding more filters to the Brands page has been a popular request lately. We will bring this suggestion or our Product team to see when we can fit it into our roadmap.

Ruler bar on the slide
(To be able to know what you're adding in inventory). A slide ruler with numbers on the side.
Especially when I take my own pics.,.
I know partender has been great about keeping up with most of it, but as a secondary check.
That way MY .4 isn't partender's .6
and such...5 votesHi there,
One of the great advantages of Partender is accuracy, which means getting away from the old-school 10-point system.
With Partender, you are able to set the level to the exact level you see on the bottle image. In the past, you may have thought a certain level on a Grey Goose bottle was .5 when in fact it was .6. Instead of trying to guess what the percentage is, Partender does the math for you!
As long as you set the correct level on the image based on what you see in the physical bottle, the inventory quantity will be accurate. =)

Hi there,
It sounds like you’re interested in seeing how much alcohol you used, so you can compare it to how much you sold. This information is in your Usage Report!
Download a Usage Report from the Reports page to see how many bottles, ounces, or shots you used of any product.

Currently all units are set up for Beverages4 votesHi,
It’s true – Partender was designed and built for beverage, or liquid capacity. For now, it still works great for anything you want to count by the whole unit.
In the future, we do want to build out more features for food! In the meantime, there are some tricks to still use the existing program for food. Give us a shout if you want to set up a free test account for food. =)

Mark Invoices PAID
We should be able to mark an Invoice as PAID (with date) so we can easily see which INvoices are open and which are settled.
4 votesHi Zach,
This is an interesting request. Invoices, as they are set up now in the Purchasing page, should be entered or checked-in once the products are received into the venue.
It’s a good idea to add a “paid” option if payment for received purchases is handled at a later time. We will bring this up to our Product team.
Thank you!

Attach invoice image to invoice
I want to be able to attach an image of my invoice to my digital invoice in Partender so I have a 2nd record of those purchases. This will help if we get audited.
